Just felt two earthquakes in the last ten minutes. We had a huge earthquake about three hours from where I live in September and it seems there's been another there just now.
Gosh I love twitter. It's the only information I can get at the moment but it seems bad.
EDIT: Just watching live footage in the town square. The top of the beautiful historic cathedral has toppled down.

My best friend and her husbands house is a complete write off  Our house is fine, but there's a lot of cracks and liquefaction down the road. And the aftershocks keep on coming |

After hearing these horrible news in the morning I immediately thought of you guys!!
hope everyone is all right!! I can't imagine how horrible it must be... we've never had earthquakes over here. :/

Found out this afternoon that my boyfriend and my father have lost their jobs due to their shop having to be demolished. I used to work there too and it's amazing how upsetting it is to find that out  |

Is it just me, or have the earthquakes been getting progressively worse over the last year or so? I woke up to tsunami warnings for the West Coast because of the 8.9 quake in Japan in the middle of the night (middle of the night for me, I mean). I feel like the higher numbers on the scale have been coming up more frequently than they used to.

I know it's quite late now but I hope everything is fine for you New Zealanders now <3 The earthquake in Japan was quite horrible. I really hope everything gets fine there soon... Amandajoyce, you're right. There have been quite a few earthquakes recently  lol after the earthquake in Japan my younger brother said that the movie 2012 is happening in real life.. |

What happened in Japan is horrible At first I thought it was 'no big deal' ... but now.... it's almost impossible for me to find the right words! |
