I really think we should have a ranking above Rockstar. Before I used to be so excited to reach a new ranking and used to post more. If there are others like me that might cause the forum to be more active You could have Superstar, Legend, etc.

I'm down with both a fiction forum and advice section. My book wouldn't have got published without all the help I got from another forum. And the advice would be cool, I don't ask for it as much but being older I like being able to help if I can by sharing my own experiences. We could even just do the section and if a bunch of people use it, maybe feature a couple questions in a column in the magazine (anonymously of course)

I think creating an advice section on the forums is a good idea. It can be hard to jump to that as a column. When I was in high school, we tried one for our paper, but we got so many questions, since it was anonymous, of people just trying to be funny, and so many that were considered inappropriate for us to answer, that we ended up having to scrap it. It got to the point where it was just staff members asking questions and another staff member answering them, so it just didn't do what it was supposed to do. If you have a discussion going to pull from, it works out better.

For the fiction forum we have Reader's Anonymous so it doesn't make much sense to make another forum... You got your book published? That's so cool!! What's it called?

well, and with an advice discussion board, whoever did a column could pull certain questions that might apply to a lot of people, reword it and do a little more research to answer it...I definitely agree that going straight to a column would get some stupid questions but I'm sure every magazine with a column has to deal with that. Skylight~ My book is called "Dream Peddler". Amazon has the first chapter...here i'll find the link www.amazon.com/Dream-Peddler-Melissa-Leaman/dp/0595459153/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1251013817&sr=8-1
