Tell me about it. At the cafe thing I used to work at, they had frequent customers that would order a whole bunch and quickly change out the $50 about to give with a $20.
This isn't about honesty, but this is about decency: A girl spilled a cappuccino all over the table. It wasn't a big deal to help her clean up, that's what my job was. But when I gave her a new cappuccino, she never paid me. I didn't want to be rude and stick my hand out, so I just ended up tucking my tail under and going to my boss. She was like- "Ugh. Oh well. Not worth it to fight with those kinds of people." It was three stuck up suburban mothers and their daughters texting at a table. ...I'm sure they could've well afforded to pay for their cappuccino and support a local business. They have regulars that come in that give them EXTRA and they are broke older folks. So ridiculous.

No, I totally agree especially having worked in the service industry. I know a lot of people don't realize how significant what they do is. Like I had a friend comment once that he figures if he skips out on a meal, the restaurant just comps it, no worries. And I (rudely and extremely harshly) informed him that in actuality either the server tells her manager and is written up at the least but half the time fired for it, or they don't deal with the discipline and end up paying for it themselves out of tips. Or a bank teller can get fired over being off by a quarter. People have no sense of decency or responsibility. Its like this attitude of well, you weren't responsible enough to catch the mistake so why should I have to be responsible to tell you. Oh, I could scream and rant on this subject for days!

I know we had a thread for this but I can't find it now.
I went to see it the other day and really enjoyed it. Yes, it was over the top, some characters were annoying, moments were cheesy but it was also kind of breathtaking and very fun.

I gave a woman the wrong change at work today and she didn't correct me. My mother had been handling the transaction and was in the middle of wrapping the piece of jewellery so I went to help by handling the money. I hadn't seen the necklace but thought it was $10 piece when it was actually $15. The woman gave me a $20 and I gave her $10 back. My first clue it was wrong wasn't her correcting me, just the gleeful gleam in her eye as she silently accepted it and tucked it into her purse.
I hate that. I've always corrected workers if they gave me too much change (or too little) and I think it's so pathetic to rip someone off over such a small sum.
I realize with some stores it can be hard to tell if your change is correct. For example some of the major department stores often mark things down without changing display pricing so they're actually cheaper then you realize, and I guess that causes people to be unsure of change amounts but my pricing was clearly marked and she knew I'd made a mistake. I had a migraine and I was in the middle of trying to update the blog on Portrait so I was distracted too.

Today we got our results for the moment. We never had this before, and everything can change, but my grades are not that good. Worst is music with an E ._. the teacher hates me. You only get A's oder B's when you sing in front of the class. And because I was missing a lot, he gave me an E Maths is marked with a D but I can deal with that. The other subjects are C's and B's. No A's English is near an A, but it's a B+

I collaps a lot in the last weeks now. :S It scares me. Nearly today in school. Tomorrow I will get my blood results from the doc. I already know that there isn't something wrong with my blood or anything like this.

Yeah, I've also seen War Inc. That movie sucks! I didn't watch the whole thing. I gave up after an hour. But yeah, Hilary got me disappointed in that movie as well.

I really like alcohol Alcohol is good because, when I'm drunk Looking at the mirror at my own reflections, I can speak whatever I want to say
Those words that are so hurt till they lead to tears Those words that causes laughter till teeth revealing Those words that strikes till your mouth shuts together to a place Can be spoken out honestly right?
Now when I'm drunk, I want to stretch out this
I want to love..
I want to passionately love whoever Love till no regrets I don't want to get away from the pool of passionate happiness Just when loving till no regrets..
